CLAL Machine Maintenance App
Breaking the cycle of machine breakdowns in alloys manufacturing plants to ramp up production.
About - CLAL Alloys, a steel processing company started in 1988 to manufacture state of the art alloy products, also the leaders in North India. They are continuing the company's growth alongside the growth of the automobile business.
Goals - CLAL signed up with Metazone to create an app to improve their maintenance of machinery, Tracking of frequent breakdowns of machinery or any other loopholes in manufacturing which may be impacting their production and sales.
Solution
Metazone created an app for CLAL Which reported & tracked the issues with live images and details of the occurring issues.
A feature for the users to update the breakdown in the app with relevant details was provided.
With time, the client was able to track the problems which were the most time consuming & worked on the problems beforehand, hence reducing the breakdown to almost zero.
Checkpoints were implemented for smooth flow of the production which were checked weekly or bi-weekly by the users like changing of oil, polishing of any part, adding new parts in advance to avoid breakdown.
Chat bot was introduced to reduce communication from different channels, where users can chat in correspondence solving all their problems in a single go!
